Production First
Programming should support safe setup, efficient prove-out, organized operation, and repeatable production.
Forge Point Machining
Nearly two decades of manufacturing experience supporting CNC machining, production programming, setup development, and process improvement.
Why Forge Point Exists
Forge Point Machining was founded to help machine shops increase programming capacity without increasing permanent headcount.
After nearly two decades working alongside machinists, programmers, inspectors, engineers, supervisors, and production teams, one challenge remained consistent: available machines can sit idle while programming work becomes the bottleneck.
Forge Point provides organized, production-ready Mastercam programming, setup documentation, and manufacturing support designed to integrate with an existing shop team.
Help machine shops keep production moving by providing dependable programming capacity when internal resources are overloaded, unavailable, or focused on other priorities.
How We Work
Every project is approached with the needs of the machinist, the production schedule, and the customer commitment in mind.
Programming should support safe setup, efficient prove-out, organized operation, and repeatable production.
Clear requirements, direct questions, realistic schedules, and timely updates help prevent expensive surprises.
Every completed project should improve the templates, processes, estimates, and delivery standards used on the next one.
Our Mission
Practical experience supporting CNC machining environments, production requirements, setup needs, and shop-floor communication.
Programs can be supported by setup information, tool lists, notes, revision records, and prove-out communication.
Support can be used for a single project, temporary backlog, employee absence, workload increase, or recurring programming need.
Customers receive clear questions, realistic expectations, project updates, and support during initial prove-out.
About the Owner
Duanell has nearly two decades of manufacturing experience working alongside machinists, programmers, inspectors, quality teams, engineers, and production leadership.
His background includes CNC programming and support for milling, turning, live-tool, and multitasking applications, along with setup assistance, tooling strategy, fixture concepts, process development, and production problem-solving.
Forge Point was created to convert that experience into a flexible service for machine shops that need additional programming support without the cost, delay, and long-term commitment of another full-time hire.
